The Samsung Note 7 may be out of the picture for now but Xiaomi has given phablet lover something to be happy about with the introduction of the Xiaomi Note 2. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will prove a great buy for those looking for a big-screen phone with lots of power and a nice design.

Beyond Mi Note 2’s stunning surface is the innovation behind the curved glass and deep technology. It packs a faster processor and storage, on top of a higher resolution camera.

Beyond the beauty of the 3D curved glass, lies the innovation of a flexible display. Mi Note 2 uses OLED which has a flexible substrate that fits under the bends of the 3D curved glass, giving you a higher screen-to-body ratio and a larger display area.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes with a dual-curved 5.7-inch OLED display of FullHD resolution, although it has a lower screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

As for the camera the Mi Note 2 comes with a 22.56 MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and a 8 MP front-facing unit. Unfortunately, there is no OIS to support the primary shooter, but it does at the very least have some form of electronic image stabilization.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is available in two configurations: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and another with 10% increase in performance with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top-end model is also available with Global LTE support.

Both devices will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor at 2.35GHz with Adreno 530 GPU, which is quite a jump up from the Snapdragon 801 and Adreno 330 which was available on Mi Note.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 runs MIUI 8.0, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The only snag in this device is that there is no expandable storage available, but the high capacity internal storage should be more than enough to cover the needs of most users.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a dual-SIM dual-standby phone. Either of the two Nano-SIM slots can be used for connecting to a 4G network.

You also have an integrated finger print scanner place at the home button. The sensor is very accurate and it unlocks the phone very quickly.

The Mi Note 2 also comes with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB-C, and there’s even an IR blaster,It also supports GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS.

Uses dual-clock design that supports high dynamic output, low distortion, and high definition audio quality made for audiophiles. It also integrates ADC converter that produces high dynamic range audio recordings that doesn’t lose quality.

Other sensors include Gyro, Accelerometer, Distance sensor, Ambient light sensor, Hall sensors, Electronic compass.

For the battery it will come with a 4070mAh large-capacity battery, which gives you continuous talk time  for 46 hours or play videos non-stop for 15 hours. Perform a wide variety of tasks without worrying that your phone will run out of juice fast.
