The Huawei Watch is an Android Wear smartwatch with a classic circular timepiece design inspired by Swiss watches. It’s made from 316L cold-forged stainless steel and sports a scratch-resistant, two-layer sapphire crystal display.

With a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 11.3mm, it’s a touch more compact than the new 42mm Moto 360. The bezels are also just 0.6mm thick, so you get more display – 1.4 inches compared to 1.37 on the littler Moto.

On the area of display the 400 x 400 pixel resolution display is the highest we have seen on an Android Wear watch. The 1.4-inch AMOLED display should prove to be extra sharp with its 286 pixels per inch. The display is always-on and there are almost 50 pre-loaded watch faces, not counting the hundreds officially on offer from Google Play.

Under the hood, the Huawei Watch comes with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, backed by 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is pretty standard fare as far as Android Wear devices are concerned

It’s powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, and includes 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage. The watch carries an IP67 rating, which means it can withstand splashing and showering , but you shouldn’t go in the pool with it.

An optical heart-rate sensor sits on the back of the watch, but it doesn’t continuously check your heart-rate like the Fitbit Charge HR or even the Apple Watch. It’s an on-demand function, you need to manually check it in the settings menu.

There’s also a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a barometer. Unfortunately there’s no GPS like on the Sony Smartwatch 3 and Moto 360 Sport. The Huawei Watch isn’t really a workout watch, but it can track basic activities like steps, distance and calories burned.

The smartwatch comes with 300 mAh battery that would last a full two days even with an always-on display. The watch is available in three models: silver, black and rose gold-plated. All models feature the same stainless steel body, heart-rate sensor and sapphire crystal display.

Motorola vision for the Moto 360 was a success so they continued to push further for more ideas for smartwatches then Moto 360 (2nd Gen) came to be. This new smartwatch is a lot like its predecessor, but has a few key changes that should improve upon the previous model. The new Moto 360 collection comes in both men’s and women’s models.

Motorola made some changes in the area of design, Motorola has added traditional lugs to the watch, which will let you change out your watch band much easier. The power button has also been moved to the 2 o’clock position, as opposed to the 3 o’clock position on last year’s model.

The regular model comes in both 46mm and 42mm options for men, and the women’s line comes in at 42mm. All variants feature a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage.

The 46mm option comes with a 400mAh battery and a 1.56-inch LCD display with 360 x 330 resolution, while both 42mm variants come with a 1.37-inch LCD display with 360 x 325 resolution. Both sizes are covered in Gorilla Glass 3.

The Motorola Moto 360 (2nd Gen) runs Android Wear 5.1.1 out of the box, which is vastly improved over earlier versions of the operating system.

Even if your phone’s at home, you’ll still get updates and notifications over Wi-Fi with full access to voice commands on your watch.

Wrists come in different sizes, so watches should too. Men can choose from two case sizes a 46 mm design or 42 mm for a sleeker look. The women’s 42 mm case is specifically designed for smaller wrists.

The whole device is also water resistant to IP67 (but not dust proof) which means it can be immersed in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Please note that It’s not to be used when swimming.
