After months of speculation the Samsung Note 7 was launched and it looks awesome,as we all know the Galaxy Note 7 shares a lot of features with the Galaxy S7 Edge, with the two now even sharing the number 7. Now let’s take a look at the most striking differences between these two devices.
DESIGN AND SIZE

In terms of the camera the Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE has the same camera quality as the Galaxy Note 7. That means you’ll find a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Pixel technology, coupled with a 5-megapixel front camera.
Both the front and rear cameras of the Note 7, S7 EDGE including the S7 have an aperture of f.1/7, helping them in low light conditions. The rear camera is capable of 4K video recording and it comes with phase detection auto focus and an LED flash. Auto HDR is present on both the front and the rear cameras.
The two share the same camera setup
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The Galaxy Note 7 and S7 Edge contain the same processor and RAM. In the US market the Note 7 will have a Snapdragon 820, and in Europe it will have the Exynos 8890, but both variants come with 4 GB of RAM, just like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
The Note 7 packs a robust 64GB of space, which is double the amount of internal memory as the baseline S7 and S7 Edge, though the Note 7 like the S7 and S7 edge has a MicroSD card slot that can accommodate cards up to 256GB in size.
On the software side of things, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz on top with both smartphones, and for the most part, the experience is largely the same.
The Galaxy Note 7 also comes with the Edge UX features, so panels like Apps Edge, Tasks Edge, People Edge, Stocks, Sports Scores, and News, are all available with a swipe of your finger.
Both devices do share a lot of design elements and features, but the latest Galaxy Note device does have a few tricks up its sleeve, including the improved S-Pen, an easier to use camera app, more streamlined software experience, and an iris scanner
The Note 7 comes with the S Pen and USB Type-C
The S7 Edge has a similar profile, but it contains a micro USB port, and there’s no S Pen
