Motorola has really gone through a rough time so they are doing every possible to revitalizing their place in the smartphone industry with several big changes.Few years ago they introduced the Moto G which was Motorola’s vision for the future and a super-inexpensive smartphone.

Now in 2017 Motorola has hit the market again this time with a budget friendly phone called the Moto C and the Moto C plus.Both mobile phones are to be released in May.

DISPLAY AND CAMERA

The Motorola Moto C comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels at a PPI of 196 pixels per inch.As for the Motorola Moto C Plus it also comes with a 5.00-inch display but with a better improvement in the HD resolution at 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch.

In the area of the camera the Motorola Moto C there’s a 5-megapixel shooter on the back, while a 2-megapixel front-facing camera will handle selfies, albeit in assuredly grainy fashion.

The Motorola Moto C Plus offers a better camera features with a higher resolution of 8 megapixels for the rear,with a front facing 2MP camera with flash for selfies. The shooter has an f/2.2 aperture and 71-degree field of view (FOV). Camera features include autofocus, LED flash, HDR and touch focus.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

The Motorola Moto C is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Motorola Moto C Plus is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

We can’t do without saying something about the OS because both devices will run on the Android 7.0.

OTHER FEATURES

The Motorola Moto C and the Motorola Moto C Plus are single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer. The 4G variant will support LTE on MTN, Smile, Etisalat, NTel, and InterC.

BATTERY

As for the battery department the Motorola Moto C will be powered by a 2,350mAh Li-Po battery while the Motorola Moto C Plus will be powered by a large 4,000mAh Li-Po battery. Another interesting thing is that the battery appears to be removable.
