INTRODUCTION

HP launched its new Spectre laptop, which is billed as the thinnest in the world, Despite its miniature size, the Spectre has some amazing features that will give you maximum satisfaction and performance.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

In order to build this amazing system HP had to use CNC-machined anodized aluminum and combine it with carbon fiber to give it strength and durability, a Full HD 13.3-inch (1920×1080) edge-to-edge IPS screen with Gorilla Glass 4 as well as a special recessed piston hinges that folds into itself, enabling its ultra-thin profile.

The HP Spectre is as thin as an AAA-battery and its just 10.4 mm thick and weighs 1.10 kilograms (2.45 lbs).

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

The new Spectre will come with the options of two processors, so users can choose from any of the two. You have the Core i5-6200U  with two cores and Hyper-Threading, 3 MB L3 cache, Intel HD Graphics 520 or the Core i7-6500U also with two cores and Hyper-Threading, 4 MB L3 cache, Intel HD Graphics 520.

The Spectre is equipped with 8 GB of memory (we believe LPDDR3) that is soldered to the motherboard, which means that it cannot be upgraded. The notebook is also equipped with a standard 256 GB or 512 GB SSD.

BATTERY

The new Spectre will be powered by a hybrid 4-cell 2-piece battery promising up to 9 hours and 45 minutes on a single charge.

OTHER FEATURES

Three USB type-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 3.You can also charge the laptop using the same ports, all three support sleep-and-charge technology.

It has a built-in stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen that include HP’s Audio Boost technology, thus providing users with awesome sound. The notebook is also equipped with a keyboard that has 1.3 mm travel as well as a trackpad with full-travel etched glass for precise navigation.

Communication capabilities of the HP Spectre include a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module that supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.
